Roles: Conception / Art Direction / Motion Design / Music Production / Songwriting / Video Direction / Editing

Since landing in New York I started a band to get all the music and design ideas out of my head. We made an album, broke up physically, then resurrected to live forever digitally in the form of an app. You know - the age old story.

Sibilance, sibilance

I designed our stage, clothes and created 5 seperate VHS videos to represent each letter of the band name each one a little different which we would play in tandem creating a pulsing DIY lightshow AND doubled as blatant self promotion. WIN!

The Respectables

The first single from our album is a nod to our obsession with our phones, so I wrote a concept for a music video that involved a careless millenial's ultimate demise at the hands of her sentient and pissed off phone.

I directed, filmed, edited, 3D designed and produced it.

It's album time

Making an album is something I've dreamed of doing since being a kid, and I finally got the opportunity to do it. I did my best Jeff Lynne and wrote and produced it.

The biggest reason I got into design was through album covers so - had to have a go at photographing and designing this one.

Instead of a traditional band break up, I came up with the concept that we become an evergreen digital entity called Wanna Touch - a web app that in order to listen to the album you have to hold and press on your device. Get to the end and you win a prize.

Playing on the fact no one really listens to albums all the way through anymore, you can even post your tolerance in seconds of the app with your friends on social media. Good ol' pointless fun.
